Lockdown turns Richa Chadha into scriptwriter

With the country going through a lockdown to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, almost everyone is confined to their homes. During these tough times, it’s important to be productive and positive. Many B-Town celebs have been talking about how they have used the self-quarantine period to pick up new skills and pursue new interests.

The latest is Richa Chadha. The actress, it seems, has used this forced break to work on her maiden script. Richa told a daily that she had been toying with a few ideas over the past few months, but couldn’t begin work owing to her hectic schedule. But now that she is home, she has had ample time to develop the idea and it is a dark comedy.

The actress told the daily that the premise of her story is hilarious. Richa said that the current situation made her ponder over the ‘fragility of human existence’. Seems, she wanted to write something about why people should prioritise what’s necessary. The lockdown, she said, has enhanced her creative side. Richa said that once she completes the script, she will start looking for a screenplay writer.
